FAQ

Q. HOW DO I ACCESS FISHER PARK AND LAKE CHAMPION?

A. Purchase a Season Vehicle Pass on this website. You can then visit the park during any time during regular hours.

Q. If the Park is closed again due to COVID-19, will my Season Pass be refunded?

A. No. There is always a possibility that additional closures may occur in the future. If you would expect a refund under these circumstances do not purchase a Season Pass. We may add additional time to passes if future closures continue but reserve the sole discretion in making this decision.

Q. I’m over 65, do I have to pay?

A. Yes, unless you are a current resident of Mitchell County. Mitchell County residents over 65 and under 12 are free. All other guests must purchase a pass. Mitchell County residents over 65 must still get their Senior Pass (which is free) online through this website. This pass will allow the senior citizen to come in to the park free. However any other guest traveling in their vehicle must either have a season pass of their own. We recommend Senior Pass holders wishing to bring guests in their vehicle purchase a regular Season Vehicle Pass.

Q. Do I need a separate permit for my boat.

A. Yes. Season Boat Passes cost $20.00 and should be purchased on this site.

Q. can I purchase DAY PASSES or annual passes at the park?

A.  Day passes are not currently available. Please purchase an Annual Vehicle Pass online.

Q. Is the beach still open?

A. The shoreline is currently open. However during the fall season and early spring our sand is not maintained in a “fluffy” way.

A. The park opens each day at 6:00 a.m. and closes at 10:00 p.m., 365 per year (when we are not under construction, hosting a special event or ordered closed due to a global pandemic).

Q. DO YOU HAVE A FISHING PIER OR CAN I FISH FROM THE BOAT DOCK
